My Stats

This morning I was checking my stats and was shocked to find over 370 hits on this blog. If you look at the chart below which summarizes the year you'll see that most often I have less than 50 hits per day. More often around 30, if that. The spikes that you see are times that I have asked for responses from one or more of the email lists that I am a member of.
So why the high number the other day? Sunday I posted the Wichita Eagle article about Chase Kear. Yesterday Yahoo featured the article in their Yahoo news. When people googled information that was in the article, my blog was in the search list. I'm still getting quite a few hits from it. :)

That's great news Moonshadow. That was a great post BTW. I am sorry your cousin had to endure the head injury. My mother fell off our horse when I was a teenager and I know first hand how difficult it can be on a family who cares for a head injury. She survived too. Of course she didn't get a write up in a newspaper. I bet your town is a buzz with all the attention. I hope it can be considered a miracle so that Father Kapaun can be recognized fully. Hope all is well. Have a great day.

Thank You, Michelle. The news about the Vatican coming to Wichita has really stirred up a lot of talk. If you click on the title of my blog post for this story it will take you to the Wichita Eagle post where there are at this time 1340 comments. There is an ongoing discussion over praying to someone other than God. :)

I think it's so interesting to see where blog traffic comes from!

What a wonderful story about Chase! It gave me goosebumps.

Hi, MOMO! I check my stats at least once a day. Sometimes I wish I had some way to contact the people that visit and don't leave comments. There was one that had done a search of my dad's name and marine squad but never left a comment of got in touch. I really would have liked to know who it was.
