June 17th Ballgames

Tonight the two grandkids both had ballgames again. Fortunately they were both at the same park at the same time. Unfortunately both their mom and dad had to work, so grandma got to take them to their out of town games. K-Monster came with us along with older sister, the Princess. The picture below is K-Monster getting familiar with the camera. He discovered it had a timer...
K-Monster and the Princess stayed with PK to cheer her on and take pictures.
Since I didn't see her game, I don't really have a commentary to go with the pictures, I just picked out the ones I thought were the cutest. Here's PK getting ready to bat.
PK on the pitchers mound.
Pitchers don't pitch in T-ball.
She sure looks like pitchers I've seen though.
I would like to know what she was thinking on this one. Click on the picture so it enlarges and look at her whole stance and expression. The coach behind her looks rather expressive, too.
I don't know if she has the ball or is waiting for it to come to her.
Always posing for the camera.
Here she's running for home plate...
On first base...
Running for home again...
Another cute smile for the camera...
That was the T-ball game. They don't keep score, everyone wins.
BASEBALL

I need to come up with a blog name for this grandson, I haven't found anything that has felt right yet. This game was machine pitch. There's enough members of this team that the grandson doesn't play every inning. The team starts out warming up.
The coach rounded them up for a talk...
The grandson's position is outfield...
There he is to the right...
He's still not seeing the ball, if he was he wouldn't have swung at any that were pitched to him. Look in the chain link diamond right behind his raised foot. That's the ball. The balls were so low across the plate that some even hit the plate. Needless to say, he struck out. That was his only turn up to bat.
The boys played a good game. The other team lead them by one point up to the last inning when our team made the maximum runs allowed for machine pitch, 5 runs per inning. Below is the grandson being happy about how the game is going.
The boys won 11 to 7. They were a happy bunch of boys.
Good games kids! Good exercise, Good fun!

And PK knows she's adorable, you know how that goes. Everybody had a great time and the clouds came in to cool us off too.
