Small Town Snapshot Sunday #1

Wendy at On the Front Porch hosts Small Town Snapshot Sunday and has invited me to join in the fun. So here's my first offering for Small Town Snapshot Sunday....

The other day when we were in Kingman for the grandchildren's ballgames I spotted a large flock of turkey vultures circling over businesses and homes downtown.
This is the largest flock of turkey vultures that I've ever seen that wasn't flying over a large body of water.
At home there is a mockingbird that sits on a utility post across the alley from the back of my garden. He sings, and sings, all the time I'm out there.
Yesterday my daughter and sil took their boys and my son's children to Wellington lake to swim, fish and cook out. They had left early in the morning. Around 10:30am I got a phone call asking if it was OK for them to come swim and cookout here because it was just too windy at the lake.
It was windy enough that the sil had to set the grill at the end of the house to be able cook the hamburgers and hot dogs.
Here's the proper way to relax in the pool. We staycation all the time and have for many years.

Come Join the Fun at Small Town Snapshot Sunday!

Welcome Mrs. E and Wendy! Come float in my pool anytime. Sometimes it's so full of children that's hard to do, though.

Hi! Those vultures would do better buzzing over my place at the present time as I'm dead meat after you correctly guessed my little scenario. Was it that easy? A: Obviously!

Give up your day job will you and become a Detective! You would certainly be a great one!

PS. Don't tell anyone, please!

Take Care,

That IS a lot of turkey vultures hanging out all together! Check my last photo post, before STSS -- it's a mockingbird that's been hanging around our house and stalking one of our cats!! :-0
