Birthday Girl Another Year

The youngest granddaughter in Kansas celebrated another birthday on Saturday.
How old are you this year, Birthday Girl! Five! And a lovely new pink outfit too.
A pretty My Pony themed cake with a bridge to a castle tower.
Needed to blow just a little harder.
The tower turns out to be a kaleidoscope that can be happily viewed through once all the frosting has been cleaned off.
Look at the pretty pastel ice cream. With all the color on the plates, the ice cream almost blends in.
Cake, ice cream and drinks for everyone.
I don't know what was going on on the other side of the island but it sure was holding every one's attention.
Everyone gathers 'round to watch the presents being opened.
She waited for me to take a picture of everything she opened, but I'm not going to post them all here. This year she received a mix of clothes and toys, and being the little girl that she is, she's just as soon have fancy new clothes.
The birthday girl is behind these two giggle boxes sharing her new piano with grandpa and great grandpa.
Here great grandpa plays a tune for her.

Another Happy Birthday for a sweet little girl.

She is just the cutest little thing. Five years old. Wouldn't it be nice to bottle that age.

She's a spoiled little girl, but in a good way. The day before her party she got to spend the afternoon shopping with her mother and me.
