I'm always looking for reflections in pictures. Just ask Wendy at WichitaKsDailyPhoto. I'm always pointing out reflections in her pictures. Also, being a videographer I have to be aware of such things as reflections and shadows to stay out of whatever is being taped. Below is the bubble enlarged, if you click on it you can see an even larger version.
The first thing that stands out is my white shoes. Up from the right side I see my elbow and forearm holding the camera to my face. The large black area is my black sweater that was draped over my arm. I took it outside with me, but never put it on. Do you see me? Remember when you look at pictures to look deeper, not just at what was being shot, but also what was going on around the shot and in the background. There are often "hidden" images in reflections and shadows.

I see you! How neat! I took me a while to figure you out but I did! :)
Great pic! As always!
Hey Moonshadow, see you are enjoying your 40D, great idea about the bubble.
Now I finally see you. I couldn't before, not until you mentioned the white shoes. How cool.
I love all your bubble pictures..including this one.. and I see you in them! I wouldn't have if you hadn't pointed it out, though!
It never occured to me that all these pictures I have taken, that some of them could be reflecting ... me. Ahhhhh ... screaming into the night. I'll have to go back and re look at some of my pictures to see if I've done that....
We all have a tendency to just look on the surface of things, it's easier. I had a nephew-in-law (he was killed in a car accident) that could spot wildlife from the window of a car like you wouldn't believe. He had a picture that at first glance looked like a pretty woodland scene.... till he told you that there were 15 wild turkeys in the shot. Then there was the picture that circulated the email for a while, I don't know if it was staged or for real. A guy put a diningroom table set up for sale on ebay. There was a huge gilded frame mirror over it in the background and in the reflection of the mirror was this fat guy taking the picture.... stark naked! And finally, I have a copy of a picture in my files from ebay... I was looking for a specific glass lamp shade for a kerosene lamp. The lady had three lamp shades sitting on the rail of her deck and in the backgroud, far in the back of her yard, is her big dog with his leg lifted over the kiddie pool! I don't think that one was staged. LOL
Hi! Great shot! The last time I blew a bubble, it took me ages to get the gum off my face.
It's the 29th here; I'll let you know what happens here. Good luck your side.
Take Care,
Peter
There's an award for you at Prairie Dreams! :)
Peter, you ARE so FUNNY!
Anita - Thank YOU! I'll try to get it picked up and a post on it tomorrow.
