I think these may be better than the ones I took last year and these are only OUR fireworks. The city fireworks won't be till the 11th for our city's harvest festival. I found out that the focal setting in the manual isn't the one I want to use. I'll work with that issue more on the 11th.
Yes - set your focus to manual focus - then to infinity *all the way to the left* same for lightning :) Set your ISO to 100, then set your F-stop according to how close you are to the fireworks. If you are very very close - try starting at around F-18 or so. If you are further away, set it to a lower F-Stop number such as F-8. Email me if you need me! :)
Thanks, KsHC! I'll have to check my settings. These pictures didn't have the focus set at infinity. Not sure where it was set. I realized it wasn't in infinity towards the end of the sky displays and stopped to set it. Those pictures came out blurry, so I don't know what I did wrong.
I'm a glass half full type of person. Always looking for ways that I can accomplish things rather than wait for someone to do for me. My days are filled with grown children, grandchildren and a multitude of projects.
