The Princess Plays Basketball Game 7

This was their last game of the season before tournament. They started out as always with a warm up. This is when we got the first glimpse of how competitive this game was going to be. Each team attempted to out shout the other during their count down warm ups.
The opposition was a little antsy on the jump ball...
...and the game was on, 'fast and furious'.
The more aggressive their girls got, the more aggressive our girls became.
Below was our first score. I didn't get shots of the scoreboard because I was not in a good angle to get the whole board.
Our girl makes a wall of herself, and she was really moving!
Below was an amazing shot, even though it was made by our opposition, it is blog worthy. It was the end of the 3rd quarter with seconds to go and she threw the ball!

EVERYONE Cheered!! As well they should for such a shot.

Below is a play that the Princess was a part of...
...passed to a teammate...
....and SCORE!

Our girls didn't win, but they had their moment to... Last few minutes of the game with everyone counting down.... 3... 2.... 1... buzzer.... the ball had been in the air and SCORE!

GREAT GAME GIRLS!!!
What a memorable way to end the season.

There's one for the archives! This will be great to show her friends and her own family when she gets older.

Anita and Psiplex, It was an exciting game, the girls on both sides were charged. I love it when they get energized like that and really work together. Both teams did a GREAT job. I cheer for my granddaughter and her team, but I will also cheer when the other team does something outstanding like the midcourt shot. I'm happy to provide the footage for her to share with friends and family. That's what makes hauling the video equipment around worthwhile.

Hi! Sizing up the oppositon before a game, I remember it well, even though it was a long, long, long time ago.

We were always the smallest and the worst dressed team around but as they say, you can't judge a book by its cover.

As on quite a few occassion we'd surprise ourselves by beating the better looking and far bigger opposition.

Thanks for taking me back to the good old days and what a shot that was in the clip!

Take Care,
Peter

Bob and Peter, thanks for letting me share my granddaughter moments with you. Back when my children were in school, when my youngest two were playing football, I had borrow my dad's camcorder (a huge thing compared to the one I have now) and started taping their games. About the second game our school camcorder battery died and they couldn't afford to get another. They asked to borrow the tape I had made of that game because with a dead battery they couldn't get theirs out of the camera. From then on out I because the "official" game videographer. One time I even climbed up a phone pole to a "birds nest" built special for the videographers. All the other videographers were usually teenage boys. That was the start of my videography "career".
