She called me this morning to let me know that she was OK and to apologize for not having called sooner. She didn't go into any details and I didn't ask for any, I was just glad to hear her voice. She had fallen back into some old habits but is working at, again, shaking them. I have a phone number to reach her now and I'd like to convince her to come home for a visit. My Sister Called!
First I'd like to thank everyone for their continued prayers, I'm sure they helped to keep her safe during her recent trials and tribulations.
She called me this morning to let me know that she was OK and to apologize for not having called sooner. She didn't go into any details and I didn't ask for any, I was just glad to hear her voice. She had fallen back into some old habits but is working at, again, shaking them. I have a phone number to reach her now and I'd like to convince her to come home for a visit. Thank You, Friends! I forgot to mention that the artwork on the page is a piece of her work that she emailed me before we lost touch.
I am so glad you finally found her again. I hope her recovery goes well, it's not an easy road, but with your support I bet she will have it much easier. It's never easy to lose touch with family, no matter what the circumstance. Beautiful work of art she made - you both share a wonderful talent! :)
WTG - Thanks for your support. I really wish I could get her to come home, and not just to make sure she 'gets better', but for very selfish reasons, I want to spend time with her. Get to know each other again, she's been gone for sooooo long.
