Hmmmm... I thought that pussywillow was native to Kansas, but I'm not finding any sites to prove or disprove this. I'll ask the hubby, see if he can find anything.
Thanks for the Award! I've got it up in my sidebar.
Just as I said, hubby found sites. My bad. I always said pussy willow as one word, the search won't find it that way. According to http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=SADI the pussy willow is not native to Kansas, BUT according to http://arborday.org/Shopping/Trees/TreeDetail.cfm?id=224 it will grow in most areas of the US. I remember seeing pussy willow in Kansas and hubby says his mother had one in their front yard. So, now you know.
I'm a glass half full type of person. Always looking for ways that I can accomplish things rather than wait for someone to do for me. My days are filled with grown children, grandchildren and a multitude of projects.

The pussy willows and daffodils are beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen pussy willow in real life... Does it grow in Kansas?
PS - you have something waiting for you at Prairie Dreams!
