Neighbors is a nice neighborhood bar, not to big and not to little. The crowd usually has more a family feel, a place where you can relax.
There usual media includes a couple plasma screen TVs, one above the bar of fair size for a TV.
They also have one big screen TV, but as you can see sitting to the right it's not as big as our big screen. The decor in Neighbors is generally sporty, especially the mural on the south wall. I did take a little better picture in 2005.
Below is a closer comparison of the two big screens.
This last shot I took without the flash. The colors show up better but it doesn't focus as well. I've got an older camera and I think I push it's capabilities.
I'm not that much of a sports fan, so I wasn't rooting for either team to win. It did get a bit more exciting there in the last quarter though. I can't say that's there was any one commercial that really stood out for me this year either. The one where the ladie's heart jumped out of her chest and told the boss she quit got a rise out of a couple of the female patrons that were eating. What do you think? Did your team win? and was there a commercial that you think was worth the millions of dollars spent to get that time?

I am a MAJOR Chiefs fan, but this year I just wasn't into it... I watched the first half and then went to bed early... Football is the only sport that I watch, and normally I'm the one scing and yelling and throwing things at the TV...lol
Wish you weren't so far away, you could have joined us at Neighbors. DIL and I left before the game and walked nextdoor to the Dollar Store and did little shopping. It was already into the first quarter when we got back. : )
I so hate football! Hubby and Halie spent the evening screaming at the TV, and I caught a few minutes of TP at half time! :)
I wonder how TP scored that gig? usually they pick someone that's a bit higher in the current charts... not that I don't love Tom, but you know what I mean...
Funny, I didn't even watch the halftime show this year. Don't know what had me preoccupied. The only football that I ever really got excited about was when my stepson played. But, I was the team videographer, so I sorta HAD to pay attention. LOL
Hi! I have to admit that if I knew the rules I would watch the game. I'm just amazed on how long it goes for. No wonder they have so many players. As I go for the West Tigers Rugby League team, are there any teams up your way that have the tiger insigna?
Regards,
Peter
Hi Peter! Not sure of the difference in time, I've never been to a Rugby game. Football and basketball have a tendency to stretch out since the clock stops when the ball isn't in "play". Then they call time out just to stop the clock. I can't say that I know all the rules myself. The only football I ever played was with the neighbor kids and the objective was to get the ball to the other end of the yard, at all costs, no matter who you had to run over. LOL
Here's a link to the NFL teams...

You'll see the second on down is the Cincinnati Bengals which are, of course, tigers. : )
Hi! Thank you for the fantastic feedback. Just back from your link and I'm offically a Cincinnati Bengals fan from now on!
Take Care,
Peter
