My Little Sister

I posted a few days ago that I was trying to get in touch with my sister, Carol. I thought I'd post a few more pictures of her. These pictures are how I remember my sister most. I am nine years older but enjoyed having her tag along with me and my friends. The picture below is my mom, dad, Carol and my dog Duke.
This picture was taken in our neighbors front yard. They had built the cutest little fence to keep the teenagers walking to an from school from walking on the grass.
Check out the whitewalls on our station wagon. A few years later my brother would put some baby moons (hubcaps) on this car. I don't remember the details, but for some reason my cousin and I were given permission to paint the baby moons. We bought some fluorescent orange spray paint and painted all four. The car was red, BTW. We did this just before a trip to California. Our car certainly got a lot of attention and I'm sure it was because of the hubcaps.
Here's Carol in the folk's living room with my cat, Satin-Patches KitKat. My next door neighbor and best friend had a cat that was nearly identical, same mother different litters. This is Carol getting all dolled up to be my flower girl in my wedding. After this, I moved to California and she grew up....
There has been a lot of water under the bridge since then, a lot of turbulent times. I don't know if there's anything else that I can say about her that might help locate her. She's artistic and inclined to be drawn to art shows and such. The picture below is one she drew of the Arizona state bird and was used on some promotional presentation for the art community (I think).

She worked in a kitchen for a while, I think it was with University of Arizona College of Medicine before she quit to go to the new job that ended up causing all the problems. I just really would like to hear from her.

Hope she calls soon! She is a very good artist...

What great pictures...
That is the one thing I will miss, is all the pictures my mother lost... She had all the pictures of us when we wee young, and the tornado took most of them...

Anita - I feel sad about the loss of your photos. I've often thought what an empty spot I would have if all the photos from all the years were all of a sudden GONE. I really need to get all of them scanned and then they all need to be labeled. Do you have any other friends or family that might have pictures? I know when I was doing my family history research I was surprised at some of the pictures the extended cousins had.

I can always count on you and Peter to stop by with your kind words and support.

Thank You Peter!

Moonshadow -- I'm still praying you find your sister. Please keep us posted. Did anyone mention posting something on Craigslist? Not sure if that's a good idea or not. Just popped into my head. Sending out the good vibes ~~~~~

Thank you, Kathy, I appreciate your concern. I think I have mixed feelings about Craigslist right now. With another possible death attributed to it's use... I realize that those kind of people could just as likely be contributing here but... mixed feelings. Keep those good vibes flowing!

Yes, I was afraid of that. Craigslist can be a little "iffy." But I shall keep the vibes and prayers coming.

I found my sister by searching public records. I don't see Tuscan public records online so you will need to call 520 791-4213 which is the number listed for public records in Tuscan, AZ.

Yes, I saw the shadowy reflection in the christmas bulb. You have a keen eye for details. Hope you are enjoying the holidays.

ggf - I'll give the number a try, probably have to wait till Monday. Overslept today and then had to leave to do some shopping in the big city. Granddaughter's birthday party tomorrow.

wendy - It's just a little more detailed if you zoom in. I'm always looking for reflections. Being a photographer myself and a videographer, I'm always aware of where I might inadvertantly show up in the shot. Sometimes it can't be avoided. I'm kind of bummed today. My son told me earlier that the store he's working for is closing which means he'll be out of a job after Christmas. They were just getting things paid up, too. Bah-hum-bug.
