What Have I Been Doing?

This will have been my third post for today. It's not for lack of things to post about that I have neglected my blog, but lack of time to post. Got a lot of pots on the fire at the moment and trying to keep them from boiling over. First everyday, till recently, I'm out in the garden. Here's the harvest from my garden the day after Labor Day. There was also one small cantaloupe that I didn't get in the picture. These yellow tomatoes are fantastic, my mom really likes them. They're a lot sweeter than regular tomatoes. The cucumbers are a bit bitter, not sure why that is. I froze most of these tomatoes after blanching and peeling them. The cucumbers I peeled, cut up, salted and put in a sealed bowl in the refrigerator. In a day or so I'll rinse them then decide what to do with them.
I also have apples. These came from my dad's apple trees. I took pictures of the trees when they were loaded, but I don't remember if I've posted about them or not. I don't think I have. They've had more apples than they know what to do with.
I'm also involved in getting ready for the Kansas Round UP of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. I had fund raiser tickets to print, cut and staple together. Fortunately, the hubby gave me a hand counting out 6 to a book for me to staple together cutting my time in half.
A friend is teaching a catechism class and has asked if I could make some rosaries for the kids in the class. It's been a while since I've made any rosaries, but it's an enjoyable way to keep my hands busy while watching TV.
I've also been transferring video from the camcorder to the computer, which doesn't take a lot of effort on my part, but I can't use the computer while it's transferring or it could drop frames. The camera is on the far right and the computer monitor where it's transferring to is on the far left (the CPU is below towards the right).
Yesterday we attended KMonster's first football game which I will post about later, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow.

Hi! Where do you find the time and the energy to do what you're doing. You're amazing!

Take Care,

Wow. You've been B-U-S-Y. And productive. Your garden and produce have done well under your hard work and loving hands!

I've been busy too, just in a different way:) And (don't ask...just accept me and go on:) -- I can be found blogging at a new home -- A Single Day.

Thanks Ladies!

Carolyn - I really didn't do a lot to get the garden to look so good. The main thing I'd say I did was killing bugs and squashing eggs. I watered at the beginning, but then the weather turned wet and cooler and I haven't had to do much since. I say God was more responsible for the abundance in my garden than I was.

Momo - what kind of skills are you needing? I'd help you out but I don't think you're within walking or biking distance from me. : )
