That's the Breaks continues...

Yesterday I drove the dil with the grandson to see an orthopedic doctor about leg...
Friday, the little guy will have surgery to reinforce the bone. After two weeks the stitches are suppose to come out and then a cast might be put on. He's got at least a couple months of healing a head of him. His mom was going to get him into football this year, but it looks like that's going to have to wait till next year. Well, that's the breaks.

Poor little guy. It is bad enough to have a broken leg but to have to have surgery too is just awful. I guess he can't move around much until he has the cast on. What a shame to miss the last weeks of summer.

Don't feel TOO sorry for him, Alice. He's got every female around doting on him and he's sucking it in! : ) He's not missing out on alot except school and so far, since it's just at the beginning, he's not missing out on much there. He spends most of his time on the couch with his leg propped up on a pillow and his mom and sisters getting him whatever he wants. lol

I don't think he looks too happy about it... I know if it were Isaiah that staying still would drive him crazy!
Hope things go fast for him... :)

Lol, your grandson is using this unfortunate incident to his advantage, that's what I'm talking about, way to go, too bad about the incident and surgery though.

Anita, the reason he didn't look to happy, other than some pain, was that he was still learning to use the crutches and was totally unsure of himself. The other day his momma came over saying that he was getting really cranky. She'd come over for some relief. lol

Bob, yea, he's a pretty smart little boy.
